Good to Know

Booking a Paris wedding DJ

Many Paris venues, especially historic châteaux, have strict sound limitations and curfews — a good DJ knows how to work within a limiteur de bruit and keep the party going. If you're an international couple, look for a bilingual DJ who can MC in English and French. Book 9–12 months out for the May–September season, and ask about lighting, ceremony and cocktail sound, and whether they offer a live musician (sax or vocalist) alongside the DJ.
